What in the Hell Just Happened?: Time to Realign Your Energy

Lately, we’ve seen more people embracing healthier lifestyles—whether through Pilates, mindful eating, or simply letting go of old habits. There’s a growing awareness that physical health goes beyond fitness—it’s deeply connected to our mental well-being and spiritual journey. This shift in consciousness is calling us, as a collective, to make better choices for our overall health and well-being, inviting us to nurture all aspects of ourselves. And interestingly, this transformation is unfolding amidst a time of profound global change. As the world around us seems to be in a constant state of flux—socially, politically, and environmentally—many of us are feeling an inner call to ground ourselves in more intentional living. With so much external chaos, it has become increasingly clear that finding balance within is not just a personal journey, but a collective necessity. The chaotic shifts in our outer world are mirroring the deeper, more personal shift towards reclaiming our health, our peace, and our purpose.

I’m not saying that if you’re not hitting the treadmill three times a week or reading a chapter a day, you’re any less part of the collective or that your sense of purpose is somehow diminished compared to the next ‘woke’ person. In fact, I’m actually writing this to tell you the exact opposite. You might be thinking, “I’m not spiritual,” or “I don’t believe in anything beyond this physical world.” That’s okay. Whether or not you subscribe to a specific spiritual belief, you are still a spirit—a being made of energy. And that energy connects you to something greater than yourself. Even if you don’t actively engage in spiritual practices, your spirit is still guiding you. Think of it like someone tapping you on the shoulder over and over again—eventually, you’ll turn around and ask, “What do you want?” That’s how spirituality works. It’s an inner calling that’s always present, even if you’re not fully aware of it. But, the more you ignore it, the more agitated you become. It’s like trying to silence that tap—you might distract yourself, numb the feeling, or keep busy, but deep down, it’s still there, stirring inside of you. The longer you resist, the louder the message gets.

Physical and mental health aren’t just important on their own—they’re intrinsically linked to the flow of energy within us. You’ve probably heard the saying, “Energy is neither created nor destroyed,” but what does that really mean in practical terms? In this context, energy refers to the essence of who you are—your thoughts, emotions, and spirit. While your physical body is created and eventually breaks down, the force that powers you, connects you, and gives you life is ongoing and transforms rather than disappears. It’s this deeper life force that links your physical being to your mind and soul. Imagine it like a river flowing through you, connecting your body to your consciousness and spirit. Just like water, it can’t be destroyed; it only transforms, influencing how you feel and how you connect with the world.

This is where the connection between physical, mental, and spiritual health comes into play. Our bodies are made of matter, which is a form of stored energy. The energy that flows through you influences how you feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If your physical body is healthy, it allows your energy to flow more freely, supporting a clear mind and an open heart. In the face of the uncertainty and disruption sweeping through every area of life—politically, culturally, and globally—it’s even more crucial to cultivate a sound mind. A clear, grounded mind gives us the clarity to navigate the noise, make thoughtful decisions, and stay connected to our inner peace, no matter what’s happening externally. When we’re aligned physically, mentally, and spiritually, we become better equipped to face the challenges of the world, not just react to them. It’s in that balance that we find our strength, resilience, and purpose amidst the chaos.

Your energy is a part of God’s presence—not only here in the physical realm but in other dimensions as well. This is why we experience déjà vu and why our dreams often feel so vivid and real. It’s also why, even after losing loved ones in the physical world, we can still feel their presence. While they may not be here physically, their energy continues to soar in another dimension. Energy is not bound by the limitations of the physical world; it exists beyond time and space.

You were chosen to be here, in this moment and space, for a purpose. If you’ve ever felt like an “old soul,” it’s because God has sent you back to complete a mission—one that only you can fulfill. When I say your higher self is waiting for you, I mean that your higher self already exists in another dimension, guiding you toward your highest purpose and helping you navigate this journey.

The life you envision for yourself, the qualities you long to embody, and the ideas that inspire you—they are all gifts from God. When we move beyond the notion of God as a separate entity and begin to recognize the Divine Spirit within us—the same Spirit that breathes life into all things—we realize we already possess everything we need to live a truly abundant life. This abundance isn’t measured by material wealth, but by a peace that transcends understanding. It’s the kind of peace that nourishes and sustains us, and it’s tied directly to how we care for ourselves—physically, mentally, and spiritually. When you nurture your body, mind, and heart, you allow that inner Spirit to flow freely, empowering you to manifest your highest vision. That sense of calm and clarity becomes the foundation you’ll need to navigate the challenges of this time. The chaos around you won’t disappear, but when your energy is aligned, you’ll face it with greater ease and purpose.

As Frankie Beverly and Maze put it, “We are one.” We’re living in a time of great transformation, where the energy around us is shifting. As we collectively embrace healthier lifestyles, aligning our physical, mental, and spiritual health is essential to meet the demands of this new era. Remember, you were born into this time for a reason. You have a unique role in this grand collective journey. By nurturing your health in all areas, you can step into your purpose with grace and confidence.

It’s not about being perfect, but about taking small, intentional steps toward alignment every day. Whether you’re practicing mindfulness, nourishing your body, or tapping into your spiritual self, each moment is an opportunity to create harmony within. The path may not always be clear, but when you start living in alignment with your true self, the journey becomes more fulfilling—and ultimately, more meaningful.

So, what’s one small change you can make today to nurture your body, mind, and spirit? It doesn’t have to be big—just a simple step toward balance. Remember, it’s all connected, and every action you take has a ripple effect. Let’s take this journey, one step at a time.
